About this blog

The main text on this blog comes from some random pages of a memoir left by my mother, Jeannette Elizabeth Losley. She thought at one point she might write a book but she never got any further than a chapter about her family history and early childhood. Some of the facts are wrong, some of the memories are colored by time and the flavors -- good and bad -- contained in her relationships. But it's her tale of her family and ours and worth sharing. The majority of the photos that appear here come from Everilde Losley's scrapbook, now with granddaughter Laura Ross-Paul. None that I've seen exist from the Head's time in Canada and nearly none of Dan Losley's family. -- Leslie Pugmire Hole
